A painting of one of my characters; Alexandria Ze Pirate.

She's based on a real person, but sadly she's dissapeared from my life and all I have left is this character based upon her.

I wanted to attempt something different in this pic by giving her more belivable costumes and trinkets all around her. There's alot of detail in this pic and it took me over 6 hours to finish it.

Six hours definatly not wasted then! =) She gives the impression with all that she is wearing that she is ready for whatever is thrown her way and it also tells me that she has many a tale to tell as well. ^_^

I love all those little details, she looks so pretty and adventureous, six hours is a long time, but it was worth it, pirates need more love. ^^ I really like the bandana, even if it's a really small detail on a big nice picture like this, it just beautiful, what else is there to say? I think it's a great way to remember someone. so nice work

Based off a real person... Very nice. Very very nice. I love the colors, and yes, the acessories are very nice.

I would stick to my day job, if I weren't nocturnal.

Beautiful work. I love the painting style and the faded skull n' cross bones on the crate. The hair color looks especially vibrant most of all.

Did it take you 6 hours total or 6 hours just for the color?

Congratulations, you found me. You win nothing.

6 hours total. But really i drew the picture pretty quickly and most of it was coloring. I drew the picture and laid down an undertone first in 1 hour, then the next day i worked from 1 to 5 coloring it. So 6 hours total i think. @_@;

I like it. It's a nice, functional redesign, but it still makes her stand out and is noticable. :) The detail and effort put into this one definitely shows.
