In Mario Kart N64 there was a trick involving a sharp left turn and jumping over the railings at the beginning of Rainbow Road. If done correctly you fell down to the track below. Nobody ever thought the game was broken, it was just a cool glitch you could exploit.
There’s a similar trick for the new Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS. On the Maka Wuhu Island course if you hit a certain wall just before the second half of the racetrack, Lakitude will skip you ahead.
Everyone is freaking out and demanding Nintendo “patch” the glitch. Personally I don’t understand what the big deal is.
It’s not a hack, anyone can pull it off, and there’s still a huge risk of losing the match if you fail to hit the wall just right. What’s the difference between this glitch and the one we discovered 14 years ago?
I don’t have an answer to that, I’m honestly curious.
Pretty much every game you play has these. Look at Super Mario 64, any Pokemon game, MineCraft, Sims, any Sonic game, Super Monkey Ball, and ect. They all have things like this and I so agree with you.
Dunno, You don't even have to hit the wall. I saw others doing it, so I started to too so I wouldn't get my online race record ruined. It's odd that it's only on the online one.
