78.4% of America is Christian. As a member of the 1.6% of Atheists residing in America, it pisses me off when Christians extremists throw a tantrum that their faith is being “assaulted” by other faith’s (or lack thereof) rightful desire for a share in the spotlight. It’s not “war” just because you have to accept that other religions and faiths exist, and you’re not “losing” it by being respectful to them. It’s called being fair. [link]

***NOTE***
Almost exclusively talking about the extremist Christians who tend to be the most vocal. I’m well aware a good percentage of Christians are just honest, nice, and wonderful people to be around, and it’s a shame that these extremists have a habit of casting such a negative light on their faith.

EDIT: Sorry, Waldo is not in there. Neither are Jedi's and for that I am deeply sorry. That was indeed a missed opportunity.

My family acts like this sometimes. Suggest that maybe some of the Democrats/Liberals/Whatever have a point and they start going "WE'RE BEING OPPRESSED WE'RE BEING OPPRESSED!!!"

Brilliant Picture, though I'm quite upset that pastafarianism is not represented in your picture :p

I definitely believe that Christians have a ton of the spotlight in the US, however, I also understand why some would feel threatened. Say there's this conference and some of the greatest minds are there from varied occupations: a lawyer, a scientist, a minister, and a doctor.
Who is the evil, biased, and most unreliable individual?
Granted, if I said the doctor was a muslim or a communist, they maybe considered the "bad guy"
So, in other words, if you are different and have a religious opinion, it's obviously irrelevant and biased.
But if you're an atheist, you have no possible interior motive, for you are pure and your opinion is completely derived of reason!
Atheism is a religion-the religion with no figurative god. Science and reason are worshiped, sometimes feelings. There is, ideally, no soul.
Of course there are variations, and atheists are usually good, happy people like anyone else.
Christianity had other gods too-ones that no one talks about or acknowledges for it would be blasphemy to do so. The Bible and how YOU interpret it, for example. Going to church to prove your faith for the soul purpose OF proving it-whether to yourself or others. (Usually others) It's annoying how some Christians just assume they know God like no other-who on earth knows what they are talking about with the Bible's many, many, many, interpretations and views!?
I mean, look at all the different kinds of churches!
It's like everyone arguing how big infinity is-NOBODY UNDERSTANDS OR TRULY KNOWS.
Then again, maybe that's the beauty of it. The diversity of people shown with how they interpret God.
*Shrugs*
Maybe I'm a nitpicker, or just some whiny teenager trying to understand what life is-maybe it will come with time. (:

Well, that was long and possibly unnecessary, but at least I got that off my chest.

It is strange to see how few atheists there are in america. O_O it's even a little scary. This drawing is very clever and full of truth you must have spent ages working on it! Bravo!

I'm a Christian and have been all my life. I agree with this there are some that get too extreme over it and it makes us all look like a bunch of jerks. One thing I also hate that some do is when they try to force their Religion upon other people. You can show people the ways of Christianity and let them decide from there. If they choose not to go with it than leave it be or you'll lose friends like that

The detail in this is just amazing! I love how you can tell what each little person is, im so impressed. As to the message your comic is conveying i agree completely and find it highly disturbing that some Christians find it appropriate to behave this way, when the foundation of the faith is love, and acceptance. Wonderful picture again :)
