Although I do prefer your original works over your comics or any 'cartoony' stuff, everything about this is awkward. The chick is staring off into another corner of the room with the most unattractive mouth/expression ever (if it can even be called an expression, combined with her lifeless, indirect stare at nothing in particular), the guy is sipping his coffee like his mouth is on the side of his face, and the way he's gripping his coffee cup is all around weird. He'd have to be rotating his wrist and arm at an upward, uncomfortable angle for the viewer to be able to see that much of his hand.
