Jesus Hates Dinosaurs by TomPreston Jesus Hates Dinosaurs by TomPreston
Does it get any cooler than the son of God fighting a T-Rex? I donít think so. Also I kinda like the metaphoric and philosophical meanings behind the idea of Jesus fighting Dinosaurs. Inspired by the comic book series ďJesus Hates Zombies.Ē
Never a better way to mess with the non religious, and church going users of Deviantart.
The drawing itself has clear vibrant colors, anatomy on both man and beast is done well, but remains obvious to a cartoons expression. to me it gives that impression of what a hero's triumph in prophet movies usually turns out to be (or that of Jurassic park for you smarty pants) the sun gleam casting down really adds a nice depth effect. obvious meaning in "Jesus hates dinosaurs" there isn't all that much to say on its personal impression. only whether you get a few "hars" out from it or not. overall a nice piece, although I would like to see how this battle ends...

I do believe I have seen the base concept for this somewhere before, but you're the first I've seen to put it on paper. Your style as a cartoonist doesn't show here as much as it normally does elsewhere (I'm an SYAC kid). But that dino's head looks a little whompy around the nose, and that's really the only problem I have with the picture. All in all, Jesus looks very nice; the expression fits the moment, and the physics with the clothes all check out. I'm really caught up in the moment here, like someone put an awesome movie on pause just before the best part. Well done!
