Laundry Time by TomPreston Laundry Time by TomPreston
Everyone needs to do Laundry... Even Luigi.

I wish this was a T-shirt

EDIT: But the reason I can't make this into a T-shirt is because it uses a copyrighted character.

EDIT: And yes I realize I can make anything into a shirt so long as I don't sell it. But where's the fun in that? Stop recommending me to sites and telling me I can do it anyway, plz.

I usually don't do critiques that people don't ask me for, to prevent unnecessary drama... but I gotta speak my mind about this one!

The idea is both pointless and weak. Ok, Luigi is half-naked... so what? I gotta be honest, there's some originality in this... but that's simply because little to no one in their right minds would ever think this would actually be worth the effort!

Even Luigi seems to wonder what's going on, here. This picture looks so lifeless with him just standing there, looking at the empty space. You could've drawn him still putting his clothes in the washing machine while whistling, or something other than just... standing idly. For someone who usually draws exaggerated expressions, you sure made an exception, here.

The technique itself needs work. The shaky lines clearly show you did this in a hurry, and with no care whatsoever. And not to mention that it seems like you don't even know what you were going for. There are straight, geometric lines mixed with free-hand shaky lines that in the end just don't mix (the blue basket, for example).

Coloring's pretty simple, so there's not much to say about it. The color selection is ok, though. Shading could be a tad better, but overall, it looks stable enough. Nothing to bitch and moan about, here.

Overall, an unnecessary idea with poor execution. It did leave a big impact on me... too bad it was a negative one.
