While driving to my work one day I had to stop at a stop light. Crossing the street was the meanest, toughest, dirty and bad-ass biker dude you ever saw. If you saw him on a lonely night you'd probably freak out and think you were about to be murdered. However, the sight of him was slightly distilled because he was pushing this bring pink, cute, baby stroller with the most adorable little girl inside. It really was one of the weirdest moments I've ever witnessed. When I got to work I quickly drew a sketch of it so I wouldn't forget.
I had to rework alot of this to make it look right. The real guy had longer hair, and sleeves on his shirt. But a guy with sleeves is hard to make look tough, so I removed them and put tons of tatoos on his arm. I gave him a cigar, added some pointy bracelets and a scar on his cheek. The rest of him is pretty much how he really looked.
The stroller was a pain cuz I didn't really remember it so well cuz I was more focused on him. I searched through "google images" for a while till i found something nice. Strollers are friggin' hard to draw. There's so many little parts that are there for a reason, but when you draw them they seem like they don't have one.
Despite how little there is here, this picture took over 3 hours to finish and has a grand total of 23 layers. I find that sometimes the more minimal you make something, the harder it can become because you have to focus more on the details.
...God, that's something that would make you feel like laughing your heart out, and at the same time, going "Awww, that's so cute! ". Awesome drawing man. Great selection of subject matter.

I think we've all had moments where you look at someone in the street and think to yourself "What's this guy's story." The world can be a surreal place sometimes.
Have you thought of adding a background sometime in the future? Its fine without it, but you never know.
yeah I have. I really wanted to have a street with a crosswalk just like I saw in real life, but the original concept I ever came up with it was always this miminal and simplistic. It's hard to justify the lack of background sometimes when all you have is a vague feeling. This wasn't a lazy choice, just an artistic one. @_@;
