This happened to me when I attended my first comic con. I signed up to be on the guest list months ahead of time, but when I arrived I was mysteriously absent from their master list of guests. They quickly found a spot for me which was (as depicted) squished next to a fundraiser booth for cancer awareness.

The booth has been enhanced for comedic effect.

At least you could say you helped to cure cancer.

I understand about the curing the cancer part but preventing death?

I swear by The One True God that this has to be the dumbest statement ever. How can we prevent ourselves from dying?

The correct one would be "Help Us Cure Cancer" and deleting the preventing death part.

Great sarcasm. And true, but cancer is more important. Only I'm not sure if that money really will be donated for that.

I know this is completely unrelated to the topic, but how do you draw facial hair? I've been trying to learn how but I can't find anything that explain how to do cartoon facial hair. Usually for things I look at realism first but with this I don't know how it would work. Do you have any suggestions?

Yeah......cancer awareness is actually really important though.

I feel for you that you didn't get a space, but then the fact that you were helping spread the awareness is good.

you can't really cure cancer, you can only treat it.

smacks your silly ass) We can cure it, but we just can't figure out how to get it to work without killing ourselves. The SAFEST we have is chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and then the most reliable and safest is just turning your life into a healthy lifestyle, doctors won't say the last part because if you think about it, if we stayed healthy our entire lives doctors wouldn't have a job right?
