Kneaded erasers are always fun.

Once during my first year of college at a small Liberal Arts school, I stuck a push-button switch and an old electrical plug into my kneaded eraser and showed it to my Art Teacher. "Look, it's an Electric Eraser," I said.

He thought it was cool. "Hey, what would happen if we plugged it in?" he said. And because he was a deranged Art Teacher, he found the nearest outlet and did just that.

I don't know how long it took him to find and replace the fuses he blew out, because about that time I decided I really needed to be on the other side of campus.
