When guys try to use the “men are ALSO objectified in comics because of their rippling muscles and skin-tight suits!” I wanna scream “IT’S NOT THE SAME THING!”

Those big burly men in comics are not designed with the female gaze in mind. They are self-image power fantasies designed to appeal to MEN. So what does a female equivalent look like? It looks something like this...

Let me just say I would not have a problem with females having some eye candy. If anything it lets me know how to change myself to attract the female gaze :P

I dare someone to spot the's in there I promise

to be fair, a majority of people who draw sexualized women in artwork are males, Because that's what appeals to them. If women were actually willing to get more involved in the medium instead of telling other people to change their artwork, they could probably get away with putting sexualized males in their own artwork. And that would be fair. And yes, i agree. Those who would have a problem with one and not the other are hypocritical assholes.  But I don't personally believe that people should demand from others to change how their characters are portrayed just because it offends them.

The comics may be made by men for men in the costume department, but the ladies get their revenge in the movies. After all, in exactly how many superhero movies has the male lead hero kept his shirt on? I can think of none... :XD:

What stands out to me is that this picture implies that the man of steel version of superman did not appeal to women, because the poster designed to appeal to women has him wearing his red underwear on the outside.

Your demagoguery is just a childish attempt at rationalization. No seriously, you're incredibly childish and cannot contemplate a context outside of your own narrow worldview.
