SYAC - Procrastination by TomPreston SYAC - Procrastination by TomPreston
This is a series I call “So You’re a Cartoonist?” which deals with all of the typical questions or remarks I receive whenever I tell people that I draw cartoons for a living.

Sometimes having my work area right next to the computer is not always a good thing. I am addicted to “Restaurant City” on Facebook. It’s probably about the only thing I use facebook for...

I think everyone who either likes art or does it for a career can relate to this. Something always seems to prevent us from getting on with it.

I may be wrong but this depics just how powerful the internet as a medium is in the modern world and just how strongly addictive media sources are becoming.

The facial expressions depic everything as to the point of saying "Words don't even need to explain the situation" as they get the point across soundly.

As vague as this critique is I personally like your works and cannot find much wrong with it apart from the Apple logo. :P

So far your series has been a joy to read. And as a young artist I can relate to most of these.

You do a great job on the facial expressions, and even though the Background is plain, it's still bright and bold :)

The only thing I can find to critique is the desk. it looks pretty flat, and could use more depth. However, I look the computer, most people just draw a box and claim it as computer XD.

I hope this review was useful, and I look can;t wait until your next comic comes out =D

Hopefully I'll find your booth in the Boston comic con =D
