I just thought this was a funny idea. What if people in the renaissance had the internet and how would the "famous" artists deal with all the hate and flame people had over their artwork?

As a bit of an inside joke, these ugly looking people are actually variations on real drawings by Leonardo...

U Jelly = You Jealous for those of you who don't know the internet lingo.

Also: I am NOT trying to compare myself to Leonardo da Vinci.

If you are not trying to compare yourself through Leonardo, you are clearly projecting.
I really think no one would be writing negatively about Da Vinci's art because at the time his peers enjoyed his art.
He study anatomy extensively, which was crucial since humanism was on the rise during this time which is when figure drawing began being practiced.

This is how it probably would've been like. :D Though I'm sure they had haters back then, too, just the different kind. I wonder if anyone's done any research on historical art critique...

Ye Olde deviantART, still full of DArama, still full of butthurt tartlets and destructive criticism. Only difference, no mods or admins, so no banhammer for trouble makers.

After all, when these artists were still alive, their work was considered shitty art and were treated as the MS Paint crap of those days.

Comes to show in the world of art, what was considered shitty, unoriginal, worthless piles of trash in the past, are now the most priceless masterpieces of today.
