A quick little tutorial about my drawing procedure. In college I learned to not focus on one area when making my initial sketches and to let my pencil flow over the page, lightly gesturing in the main aspects of the image. If you start right off the bat by drawing the details, you can sometimes end up with “wonky” artwork and bad proportions. Making gestures and thumbnails first can help curb that and yield better results.
This is my last "tutorial" for a while. There are a few I did not post here on DA (due to copyright reasons) and you can view them on my site. SYAC will begin back with it's normal schedule starting tomorrow.
