No matter how difficult a commission might be (and believe me I have gotten some whoppers over the years) the satisfaction I get because I've made someone happy with my art outweighs any of the frustration I might've had while drawing it.

It happens to me too, like whenever my best friend tells me to draw something i normally don't draw, and I think it sucks, she thinks it's the best thing ever

That's how I feel when I write a requested fan-story for one of my friends, especially ones where I have to spends DAYS researching the show and characters, getting to know them well enough to write with them. ^.^

I don't have good experience with commissions. In the end when I am done, the customer doesn't want to buy it anymore or they ask for a cheaper price. >:[
