A lot of people, depending on their level of ignorance, will say you need a special tool of some kind.
Now in some cases, that's true. Like if you're a traditional artist, paper means a lot. Water color doesn't bleed or wrinkle as bad.
But when it comes to anime and cartoon artist, EVERYONE thinks you need a certain pen.
Let it be known, they do help a lot (totally worth 30 bucks ofr a set of 8 in my opinion) but you can just use regular pens and do just fine.
This is a play on that.
Because the ignorant artist tell new ones. They're just trying to help, but in turn it makes them feel like they need to do more, and can't. Then they feel like they're not a cartoon or anime artist.
