A tribute to Hayao Miyazaki, Japan’s Disney. The man is a genius and he demands unbelievable quality in his animated movies. This is a collage of a bunch of recognizable characters from nearly all of his movies! Wee! This painting/illustration took me over 8 hours to complete.

EDIT: Because you people don't know anything about Studio Ghibli, i'm just going to explain one thing: Miyazaki doesn't make ALL of the movies that Ghibli makes. "Whispers of the Heart" "only yesterday" "grave of the fireflies" "the cat returns" "pom poko" and "my neighbors the yamadas" were not made by him. Similarly, "Lupin III" and other TV shows that he DID work on were BEFORE he started making movies, which is why i excluded them. In this picture there is at LEAST ONE character from EVERY MOVIE that MIYAZAKI made. So CHILL OUT PEOPLE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BITCH TO ME ABOUT EXCLUDING YOUR BELOVED FAVORITE CHARACTER!!!!
