Couple things.
1. Yes, that is a portal gun and Chel's outfit in the closet.
2. Yes the flag is attached to the stick incorrectly. My bad. Don't need to keep bringing it up.
3. Yes there WAS a Jamacain Bobsled team. Travis's line is more about nowadays, not the past. To quote Wikipedia: "The team first gained fame during their debut in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Canada, where they were seen as underdogs. The team returned to the Winter Olympics again in 1992, 1994, and subsequent competitions but failed to qualify for the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics."
4. No I don't think this is about being a butthurt American for not being able to sponsor the Olympics. It's about specific nerdy characters being dissatisfied that reality isn't like fantasy.
