Dan Roth wrote a fascinating article about Lara Croft for the website Chez Apocalypse: [link]

To accompany the article, he asked me to illustrate a short 3 panel comic header for him. Given the gritty nature of the game's visuals, I decided to use copic markers instead of doing things digitally like I usually do these days.

Please read the article. I think he has some interesting points to make.

The one problem I really had with this game was the constant fighting. I don't want to be pitted against a hundred men every time I round a corner; I want to explore tombs and sneak around. The constant fighting is extremely tiring,

Actually most of the problems that happen in the game is caused by Lara, you manage to make the gas catch fire, which starts a fire storm, which makes the cave system almost collapse which almost kills your friends. So yes Lara is not great at keeping people alive. Yet she got 3 alive out of all of them. Good odds?
This comic is good, except odd clapping but good.
