I hear this alot. Gamers professing that their console of choice is NOT a toy. It's a multimedia storage device which happens to play games.

I'm sorry but no... it's a toy. And there isn't anything wrong with it being called that. If you have a problem with your console being called a toy, then you've got insecurity issues.

Personally? I LOVE toys...

Well "Toy" isn't quite the word I would use.. But.. Yea, you're right, once you think about it, it's pretty much just a toy at its core,and that not a bad thing of course. But on to the actual quality of the picture. As usual your character art is expressive and full of life. Which I love. The colours and shading are very nice too, the colours are vibrant, and the shading looks very natural. However, Woody's hands do look a little strange(but to be fair hands are really annoying to draw) and his pose lacks.. umm power I guess you could say,it gets the job done, but maybe if he was stretched out a little more it would help. Overall though, good work. It was a neat idea, and it defianetly made me laugh, which is always a good thing.

Though this message that the "PS-Trizzle" and other high-def consoles being toys and not something less childish-sounding has been said a lot, I haven't heard it in the context of Toy Story before. As for the drawing itself, while the shading and coloring is quite good and colorful, some of the edges look a bit unpolished, especially on the PS3, which looks especially unpolished. Also, Woody's expression doesn't look quite right for the context. The expression does have the right anger to it, but the body motions don't really match what I would think the emotion was supposed to be. Maybe if Woody was pointing, it would work better. Still, I thought that in terms of the message, the Deviation delivered it quite well.

i agree, i have this 'toy' and some of my friends hate it when i call it that. toy has many verities of things to spread out to, from dolls to toy cars, to game systems. its an inanimate object that entertains you, its a toy.
